The new Harmony
Collection from Macallan has been an enormous hit with single malt fans and
collectors alike. The first release in 2021 can now be found averaging double
its original price tag.
The 2nd release in the collection is 2022's
Intense Arabica. We were able to snag a large allocation to close out the year
and now have this wonderful whisky on offer without an allocation limit. Each
release draws inspiration from the natural world, the first release focused on
the flavors offered by Rich Cacao. The latest iteration - Intense Arabica. This
special single malt is inspired by the Ethiopian Arabica bean. Ethiopia is
claimed to be the birthplace of coffee as the Arabica bean was the first
species of coffee to be cultivated. With a distinct coffee flavor, this whisky
exudes notes of espresso, dark chocolate and sweet oak. The intensely flavored
single malt invites you to immerse yourself in a sensory journey through flavor
and aroma.
Each release also features unique packaging
derived from the byproducts of their namesake. The second release of the
Harmony Collection is presented in a gift box made from repurposed and recycled
materials The packaging has been expertly crafted to give new life to coffee
bean husks, a by-product of coffee, that would otherwise have been discarded.
Inspired by the craft and key ingredients, the color red was selected for the
packaging to reflect the rich red color of the coffee fruit.
