Kaiyo Peated Japanese Whiskey
This whisky is matured in the finest Mizunara oak
casks, bespoke barrels crafted from slow growth, air-seasoned wood from
hand-selected trees. These casks are handmade due to Mizunara oaks delicate wood
grain. The spirit is gently matured in traditional style for many years before
it embarks on its unique sea voyage.
Filled in Madeira casks, then aged in Mizunara oak. Doubled distilled from
malted barley peated to 35 PPM. Un-chillfiltered and bottled at 46% ABV.
Smokey nose with hints of fresh cherry blossom, ripe fruit and honey. A sweet
long drying finish.
