Buck Bourbon 8 Years 750 ML Hard to find! Buck is a single barrel, Kentucky Straight Bourbon that has been aged for 8 Years and bottled to reflect the spirit and hard work of the rodeo. The first scents are cereal grain stewed with corn syrup, mint, caraway, caramel, roasted filberts and vanilla. These aromas are inviting and evocative. On the palate these flavors arrive abruptly with added spice tones: cinnamon,nutmeg, ginger, pepper... Very bold and spirited, these flavors frolic to resolve on menthol and evolved oak nuance before settling down to supple toffee. The finish is warm, tangy and lingering, loaded with oak and spice. This is a fun whiskey to try with water, on the rocks or in a nice beverage.Just like the famous Black Maple Hill or Willett bourbons, the Buck is a negotiated whiskey made by one of the famous Kentucky distilleries for a private client and then bottled independently. Unlike those other two bourbons, this Buck is priced more like Buffalo Trace and Bulleit, yet drinks like an 8 year should. The wood adds a soft and sweet texture, while the spice really integrates well with the grain flavors.
