Whaler’s Great White Rum
Whaler's Rums are a line of rums said to be inspired by Hawaiian recipes but produced today in Kentucky at Heaven Hill Distilleries (on behalf of their subsidiary company, Whaler's Distilling Company). According to the website, the name comes from sailors who used to rattle vanilla beans in cans to attract whales--these same sailors ended up in Hawaii drinking the local rum.
Whaler's Great White Rum is their clear, unflavored expression that is--in Heaven Hill's words--"triple distilled for pure smooth flavor."
