A
long sweet finish. Clase Azul is an ultra premium, 100% Weber Blue Agave,
Reposado Tequila. Clase Azul tequila is the perfect marriage between the finest
Tequila and a beautiful handcrafted, hand-painted Talavera carafe. It is
produced and bottled in the Jesus Maria region of Arandas, Jalisco, MX from
100% Tequilana Weber Agave. Clase Azul is aged for a minimum of eight months in
small oak barrels. We are using a blend of Bourbon, Cognac, and Sherry casks in
the aging process. This aging period and the use of these different barrels
differentiates Clase Azul and gives it an award winning taste profile. It has
distinct, smooth flavors and aromas, as well as an excellent balance over the
palate.
The
bottle style is called "Talavera", which was introduced to Mexico by
Spanish artisans of the Colonial period. Known as "majolica" in
Spain. More: An unbelievably good Reposado tequila, made from Organic agaves
which are grown for over 9 years before slow cooking in traditional ovens. The
fermentation is done using the company's secret blend of yeasts, and then comes
distillation followed by triple filtration. It is aged in very fine oak barrels, and
is bottled in these tall, handsome decanters which are hand-painted and
numbered by local artisans. Clase Azul's incredible Reposado has been awarded
Gold medals by the Beverage Testing Institute and the San Francisco World
Spirits Competition.

the superior tequila, to the unique & beautifully handcrafted bottles,

Maria Canchesda, over 100 artisans dedicate their time to creating each bottle

Clase
Azul tequila is created using only 100% organic Tequilana Weber Blue agaves –
the only kind of agave out of 200 varieties that produces tequila. Once
harvested, the agaves are cooked in old-fashioned brick ovens for 72
hours. Once
cooked, the pinas are crushed to extract the juices, which are then mixed with
a special proprietary yeast. The fermentation process takes place, and finally,
the alcohol is distilled twice with careful attention to ensure the highest
quality spirit.
Our
ultra-premium line of tequila is produced in one of the highest points in Los
Altos, or the highlands – in the town of Jesus Maria in the region of Jalisco –
which results in a very unique flavor profile.
