Busnel VSOP Calvados Vieille Reserve 750 ML Calvados Busnel, one of the worlds great brandies, is made from apples that grow in Pays d Auge the famous cider-making region of Normandy. Over 40 different apple varieties are carefully selected, pressed and the juice is allowed to ferment naturally until it turns to cider. The cider is then distilled twice in copper pot stills before being aged for at least four years in oak casks and blended to make this rich, smooth, complex brandy with its superb aromas of ripe apples. Enjoy Calvados Busnel neat, on the rocks or drink it long as an aperitif or mixed in cocktails. It is superb to drink with food, particularly pork dishes or sausages or any dish flavoured with apples. Calvados, France Recognized as the premium brand for calvados. A true aoc pays d'auge the highest appellation in calvados. Only the first juice from the pressing is used and fermented and then distilled twice in a copper pot still.
