Aberlour A Bunadh Alba Cask Strength Scotch 117.4 Proof Batch 2 Aberlour whisky was born in the Speyside village of Aberlour, made with local spring water from the Ben Rinnes and barley, now locally sourced from the fields near the Aberlour distillery. A'bunadh means 'The Original' in Gaelic because Aberlour makes every bottle as they would have done 100 years ago: in batches, with no chill-filtering. A'bunadh Alba is as close as you can get to tasting a dram at original cask strength at the Aberlour distillery; full of intense flavors in every single drop. To mature the whisky, Aberlour uses barrels made of American Oak known as 'Quercus Alba'. They carefully fill them with Scotch Whisky for the first time. As the years pass, these casks infuse their sweet flavors into A'bunadh Alba. THE LOOK is light gold. THE AROMA is sweet with apples and pears; notes of honey and vanilla. THE TASTE is citrusy with notes of baked apples and a hint of almonds. THE FINISH is smooth and sweet. THE DEED is in the tasting. 117.4 Proof
